Higbee Hollow, a small town with a very dark past. It was founded by a man named Higbee in 1901. Ever since then, many terrible tragedies have occured in the town, all of them falling on Halloween night. Now every year on Halloween many of these tragedies seem to spiritually appear and replay themselves, almost as if the town is alive and feeding on people's fear of reliving these moments. So as you and your fellow Paranormal Investigators enter the town, you will pass by the welcome sign, shop at some of the vendor booths, grab some food from various food trucks, and enjoy some music or live entertainment before diving into some of the locations within the town that these tragedies occured. Our team has been unsuccessful in any real Paranormal findings, however we have dug into the past on some of the events that have happened in the town. We will reveal those as we finish up the reports, until then we look forward to seeing you all this Halloween and wish you good luck on your investigations within Higbee Hollow.
The gold mines in the small mining town were starting to dry up. In an attempt of desperation the miners of Boom Town began blasting to get deeper into the ground in the hope of more gold. In the middle of the night on Halloween, one of the miners set off an explosion that opened up a section in the earth's crust. The ground began to shake and the mines started collapsing on the miners still inside. From the new section that opened up, demons and evil spirits crawled out and possessed most of the fallen miners. The town folk looked to the mine opening to find these monsters emerging from the dust and debris. With them a witch also emerged from the opening. Once out of the mine they attacked the poor folks of Boom Town, killing all in their path and driving away the others. Be careful if you visit the historic town. Some say they still have seen them monsters every Halloween night, protecting the town and the mine.mines in the small mining town were starting to dry up. The big annual Halloween party was taking place at the McTavish Farm. Jack Bones and the Skeleton Five were performing on stage inside the barn. The party goers were all dressed up in costumes having a good time. Multiple reports of eyewitness claim to have seen The Boom Town Witch arrive at the party. At first she was dismissed as being another person in costume, until she reached the stage. The Witch got on the stage and cast a spell on many of the people in costume. The ones dressed as werewolves, vampires, scarecrows, and other monsters, turned into what they were dressed as. Suddenly the now turned monsters started attacking and killing the other people at the party. Some of the people ran out into the cornfield seeking shelter, but were soon followed by monsters on the hunt for more blood. By the time authorities arrived it was too late. 55 people were brutally murdered that night and the ones that turned into monsters just disappeared. The time is now and many investigators have heard echoes of music by Jack Bones and his band, Screams from the cornfield, and the occasional howl of a wolf. During your investigation, you will start with the barn and then head out into the cornfield. Good luck.
Krinkles Diner became very popular amongst townspeople and tourists, however the Diner is no longer famous for its food and laughs, but now a place of fear and disgust. Krinkles was opening up his factory to the public for once in a lifetime tours. News broke that morning with flyers scattered around town and KZMB Radio broadcasting as well. Something the public didn't know that authorities discovered later is that people had already began disappearing near the Diner earlier in the morning. As the time hit for the tours to begin, Krinkles had guests make their way through the Diner where he offered samples of a new kind of meat on the menu. People loved it and even sat down to order some. As people made their way into the factory they witnessed the true horrors, clown butchers were cutting up human bodies and grinding them down. As people tried to escape they too were cut down and turned into the special meat for the night. Everything came to an end when police received a phone call from the factory. Once police arrived they found the bodies as well as Krinkles and his staff all dead. Police reported it as suicide, but nothing seems right with this case. How does Krinkle and his whole staff just snap one day and commit these crimes? Who called the police? Did they really all kill themselves or did someone/something kill them? Hopefully through further investigation we can get these answers and more. People have reported hearing the clinking of silverware on plates from the diner and seeing smoke rising up from the factory. Make your way through the Diner and factory during your investigation, but be careful not to end up on the menu.
The Higbee Hollow toy store became the home of one of the most notorious serial killers, Norman Oswald, also known as The Toy Maker. From what we have gathered this is the only incident that took place over a series of days, however the more sinister part occured on that Halloween. Weeks prior many children had gone missing in the town, turns out Mr. Oswald had been abducting these kids and holding them in cages. According to the Police report made that Halloween night, a call came through with a kids voice calling for help at the Toy Store. Police rushed in and found a hidden room through Mr. Oswald's workshop. Police rescued some of the kids being held captive, but some of the others were subjects of the Toy Maker's creations. Officers eventually found Mr. Oswald and gunned him down as he attacked them. Since then every Halloween night people have seen toys move on their own inside the store and the Police get a call from a kid crying for help from inside the store, which they respond to the location to find no one around. They have also matched up the call with previous years and the child's voice is the same every year. We will continue to dig up more information when we can, but It's been over 30 years since someone has stepped foot inside the Toy Maker's dwelling. So be extremely cautious during your investigation and as always good luck.
The town had previously been operating as a Halloween festival, trying to remove its stained blood soaked history. This year they wanted to bring in something new and exciting, A Haunted Hayride. Everyone loved the idea, however space was limited till someone came up with the idea of running it through the Higbee Hollow Cemetary. It instantly got approved by the council without thinking of any repercussions and The Horrorland Hayride was born. Throwing together animatronics and props from your favorite horror movies they opened the ride with witty tour guides to assist the guests through. During a ride through, one of the tour guides noticed after a joke that some blue light emerged from a grave and moved into an animatronic. That same animatronic moved and lunged forward at the trailer. The guide thought it was odd, but shrugged it off as them switching out the prop with an actor. If only the guide had said something, they may have prevented a horrific tragedy from happening. The next group that boarded and went through all ended up being butchered and brutally murdered. They couldn't find a killer, but the strange part was that all the stab wounds and cuts matched up with the weapons the animatronics were holding. Still to this day nobody has been caught for these crimes, perhaps these murders were committed by something not among the living. Could the town running a mockery through the cemetery cause some spirits to be angered? Hopefully you can find out as you board the hayride and make your way through the cemetery on the world famous Horrorland Hayride.
